Association of Iranian Documentary Producers
Our country, Iran, with its historic antiquity and variety of customs and traditions
has illuminated the culture and civilization of humankind from ancient times and
intends to carry out that role in glorifying the global culture
Iran's modern cinema is a reflection of that antiquity and the Iranian Documentary
Cinema tries to reflect all these marvels and beauties on a national level and global
arena
In the past years, the Iranian Documentary Cinema has been able to take effective
steps towards achieving a suitable position on both national and international levels
The production of about 700 documentary films annually is a clear sign of that position
The Iranian Documentary Producers Association, as member of the Iranian House
of Cinema, and with nearly 120 members, has placed the assistance of the caste and
professional affairs of the producers of documentary films as part of its itinerary, from
the very beginning. The main goal of the Association was to develop the art/industry of
the documentary cinema and preserve material and moral rights of producers of this film industry
